Melissa Lizarraga is a Senior Analyst who specializes in forensic accounting, analysis of assets and debts, income and support analysis, tracing of separate and community assets, and litigation support in marital dissolution and civil litigation matters.

Melissa has three years of experience in public accounting, having worked at Moss Adams as an auditor. Starting as an audit staff, she progressed to the role of audit senior. During her time at Moss Adams, Melissa gained exposure to various industries including financial services, not-for-profit, retail and fitness.

Melissa has experience in all stages of an external audit. From the initial planning, internal control testing, and detailed substantive testing to financial statement drafting and issuance. During her time as audit senior, Melissa showcased her leadership skills by managing and mentoring audit staff on audit methodologies, GAAP principles and efficiency strategies.

She holds a Bachelors degree in Economics and Accounting from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Additionally, she is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in the state of California.
